PMI Sees Increase in Industrial Fan Cooler Demand

August , 2012

PHOENIX, AZ – August 1, 2008 – Phoenix Manufacturing, Inc. (PMI), a builder and supplier of quality evaporative cooling products has recently observed an increased interest in its industrial fan coolers for what the company believes to be a variety of reasons; namely the significant energy savings associated with this type of cooler. “We’re very proud of our fan cooler quality and on-time delivery record at PMI, therefore, we’re obviously very pleased with this development,” said Anne Wood, V.P. for Customer Support with PMI.  PMI offers industrial/commercial fan coolers in both an Aspen version and a Rigid Media version.

These highly efficient fan coolers employ commercial grade fan blades that deliver more air and consume considerably less energy than comparable blower wheel model coolers.  Designed for low static pressure applications, evaporative fan coolers are ideal for factories, warehouses, agricultural buildings and other installations requiring straight discharge plenums without ancillary ductwork.

For ducted applications with external static pressure exceeding 0.2” water gauge, PMI recommends the use of one of their blower wheel models.  PMI industrial/commercial evaporative coolers come with motor and pump factory-installed and pre-wired.  All models are UL listed and the separate pump circuit is GFCI-protected for safety.
