We pride ourself on the service it provides customers thanks to the employees who work in the customer service department.
“We know our product,” said Anne Wood, Director of Marketing. “If people call in to the customer service department and ask questions about evaporative coolers, they get answers and are not transferred around everywhere.
“The other nice thing is when customers put in an order in the morning, they can expect to get it shipped out later that same day,” Wood continued.
In this month’s employee spotlight, we feature Melissa Samson who has worked in the customer service department for more than 20 years.

1. How long have you been working here?
I have been working here for 24 years.
2. What is your role?
My job is Customer Service Lead.
3. What do you love about your job?
I like the benefits, stability and the comradery amongst all of us. It’s also enjoyable that every day is a new day. Nothing is the same, always a new challenge ahead!
4. How do you like working with others that have worked at the company as long as you have?
It’s often helpful to know you can depend on others to locate information when trying to assist in answering a question. It’s amazing the knowledge we all store up from the many years some of us have been here.
5. Anything else you would like to add?
I enjoy working with others and having a job that allows me to challenge myself. We have a great sales department and I’m proud to be part of it.
