heat-loadHeat Load Calculator

Use the calculator below to find the CFM required for your specific project. Fill in the following:

  • Dry Bulb Outside
  • Web Bulb Outside
  • Sensible Load BTUH
  • Media Efficiency
  • Inside DB (Design Temp)

*MEDIA EFFICIENCY
The efficiency of the different cooler medias are as follows: Aspen = .8 (80%) 8″ CelDek = .85 (85%) 12″ CelDek = .9 (90%) 4×4 Celdek = .935 (93.5%)

NOTES:
If a negative CFM appears after all data is entered then design temps cannot be met. If the DB and/or the WB temps are not available, you could use the ASHRAE Design Temperatures for the area.(Close window when done viewing.)
